The Spider and a Lizard
-Oishi Haque
The bed was a mess, trousers on the table and books on the bed
A big Spider was the only inhabitant!
No, a dominated white lizard, too
She was scared and thundered to utter a word of woe.
The head of her was half swallowed,
Her breasts were bleeding
Her eyes were cold and still on the ceiling.
She was preyed upon, she was eaten – everyone knew.
No one rescued her but mourned a few.
