Do you know what’s frustrating?
Waking up and debating with yourself
All-day long,
Asking yourself what’s right and what’s wrong.
Do you know what’s frustrating?
Judging yourself for the millionth time
Taking your silly mistakes as huge crimes.
Do you know what’s frustrating?
Caring about everything
When you know you’ll fail
And no one asks as your face turns frail
And signs of distress linger on your temple.
But you still get up
From your morning bed to reassemble,
With some hopes
That God will bless you;
Because He knows your struggles
Are true.
