Sakibur Rahman Arnab
Standing alone in sheer darkness,
Bearing the burden of emptiness.
My soul awakens through shades of night
Never wants to see; neither day nor light
Even my own shadow has left,
Thus, the grievous soul was bereft.
Darkness invades every segment of my soul
Beyond every motions of control
Alone; it is depressing and lonely
With horrid and morbid visions only
Agonising memories revive through obscurity,
In a state of infinite wretched insanity.
Awaiting for my funeral pyre,
With a keen desire to reign in eternal fire.
The sombre dimensions of boundless misery,
Drowning in a vast ocean of bitter shivery.
Not able to reach out to the shore
Life can be endured no more
My soul is weeping loud in extreme distress
Such an affliction that is difficult to suppress
Standing alone in sheer darkness,
Bearing the burden of emptiness.
