Insomnia

Flash Fiction

Hosain

Habitual sleeplessness, inability to sleep ..

In the middle of somewhere from falling asleep to almost anywhere and everywhere we all grew up, and like fairy tales waking up on the wrong side of the bed in the noon till the sun hits its highest peak. Where did those days go? Now all I can remember is staring up at the ceiling where all my loneliness and emptiness hits me by and asks me questions about when the sun goes up again. Now all I can remember is checking my phone again and again and watching the same frozen time mocking me on my funeral and reminding me how lifeless I have become. Now I can remember I lost myself and found you in a stranger’s dream ..
