Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Contributions should not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each contribution is submitted to at least one reader on a panel of reviewers and only those articles recommended by the reviewer will be considered for publication. Reviews may take four to six months to complete after the submission deadline.

Crossings does not accept student papers or creative writing. However, all decisions regarding final acceptance and rejection remain the prerogative of the Editorial Board.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of fi rst publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
