The Longing for Freedom and the Reality of Bonding in the Plays of Tagore

The life of a play is its conflict which is abundantly present in the drama of Tagore. It exists primarily in the desire for freedom and the reality of bonding, for example, in the difference between Achalayatan and Muktodhra. ln both plays the bonding exists along with a strong yearning for release. In the end the longing for freedom.
